Welcome to Beam & Loft by ASK Building Consultants Ltd! We know that getting building work done can be stressful and overwhelming, especially when there are so many different parts to the process and you don’t know where to start. ASK Building Consultants are here to help yet again, this time providing an online service to get information, calculations and designs at your convenience. We currently only serve clients in the Greater London area, though this may be subject to expansion once the covid pandemic is less prevalent. Through this website, you can get fast quotes for designs and calculations, with an explanation of their purpose. More often than not, builders pursue calculations and designs themselves, taking a significant cut and leaving you further out of pocket. By making the correct enquiries with us and understanding the steps required to pursue the building work that you require, you can ensure that you are paying no more than what is necessary for each stage of the process.

Loft Design
We cater to a variety of needs when you decide to build a loft in your property, including Ridge Beam calculations, Floor Trim calculations, Rafter design, Flat Roof Joist design, Floor Joist design, Floor Steel Beam designs and Ridge Beam Support Posts design.
Steelwork
This includes Steel Beam calculations and Steel Frame Design with calculations.
Timber
This includes Timber Beams, Purlins and Posts as well as Timber Joist and Rafter specifications.
Masonry
This includes Masonry Pier calculations, reinforced Masonry calculations and Retaining Wall calculations.
